Since the beginning of November 2023, the Coal I Steam I Light I Lakes cycle route between Bitterfeld and Delitzsch has been closed due to bridge damage caused by waterlogging. The closed area includes the bridge 46 over the Graben 2 in the Saxon area, belonging to the town of Delitzsch, directly after the state border.
A detour for cyclists is to be signposted. Due to the proximity to Saxony-Anhalt, this detour will mainly take place in Saxony-Anhalt. (see map) This will be via Lake Paupitz and will reconnect to the correct Coal I Steam I Light I Lakes cycle route near Lake Neuhausen.

We ask all guests on this section of the cycle route to follow the signposted detour.
We ask for your understanding and that you observe the current road closure for your own safety.

Bis vorraussichtlich 17.04.2025 wird der Haynaer Weg über die BAB 14 auf Grund des Ersatzneubaues des Widerlagers gesperrt. Die Umleitung für diesen Teil des Kohle | Dampf | Licht | Seen - Radweges erfolgt über die Gustav-Adolf-Straße und die K7429.
Seitens der Stadt Leipzig wurden am 27.03.24 entsprechende Hinweisschilder aufgestellt, um auf diese Umleitung hinzuweisen.
