Route direction

At the beginning you roll east and cross the Pleiße. Further it goes through a young forest to the Störmthaler channel, which you cross. Shortly thereafter you reach the eastern shore of Lake Störmthal.

Here you cycle always near the shore towards the south. You enjoy from the bike path and from vantage points again and again magnificent views of the water. Also beautiful beaches invite on the way to comfortable breaks.

In the south of the lake you follow the winding shore over the Magdeborner peninsula, where you will find great places to stop and swim. Continue around the southern tip and along the western shore. Here you can once again take in the spectacular views over the lake before returning from the northern tip back to the starting point in Gaschwitz.
