Lake Werbelin
Lake Werbelin is a nature reserve and bird sanctuary with diverse landscape structures.
The Werbeliner was created in the final position of the Delitzsch-Southwest open pit mine. Through active design on the one hand and leaving existing structures as part of the mine rehabilitation, an attractive landscape has been created that has become home to numerous waterfowl. Due to the protection status, the movement area is limited to existing paths.
