Lake Zwenkau
Lake Zwenkau is the largest lake in the southern Leipziger Neuseenland and a highlight for those seeking recreation as well as for water sports enthusiasts.
Above the harbor with sandy beach, restaurants, tourist office and vacation apartments is the exhibition pavilion KAP Zwenkau. In it, the model of the overburden conveyor bridge AFB 18 and an exhibition on the mining history of the region can be viewed. From the roof terrace you can enjoy a unique view over the lake.
On the southern shore of the lake, the Eichholz invites you to take walks in idyllic nature. Likewise, on the north shore of the lake, nature lovers will not be disappointed with the hiking trails in the "Harth" and the "Neue Harth" Großpösna.
